The Tendency Whether or not it is our inherent tendency to adjust to certain situations or be judgmental about them, is hard to tell. Love for food is universal. I was plodding over the pages of ‘Women’s Era’ September 2009 (first issue) when my eyes feasted on the 52 items of ‘Cookery Special’. The items were soft and cheesy and had a mixture of vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian. However, the number of vegetarian recipes was less, compared to their counterparts.  Nevertheless, what attracted my attention was the article ‘Eat your way around the world’ by Kasturi Rangachaari. Her write-up was a pure reflection of a travel freak and a food fanatic. She delights in vegetarian food and is a strict veggie. Factors: She gives a detailed explanation of what suits the Indian palette and what are the factors responsible for modifications, if at all. The Concept Chetan Bhagat’s book Five Point Someone is a hilarious issue of his fertile mind A mind that derates the present education system and the way, it plays with the minds of the students. The first time, I, an Arts Graduate picked up the book, I was awestruck. In the event of writing something, I chanced upon Nostradamus the hero of quite a few centuries. For yon and yon people have wondered what their past would be like. When some wonder what will work out for them there are dolphins and men in war already lying in a pool of blood. Whither are you folks. I’d like to ask when the WTC or the Tsunami hit? In a mall, in a pub, in function r busy doing charity work or writing articles like me? It’s not your fault. So many things are happening simultaneously and we do no have hold over the situation! Some of you will say that is none of our business! What are the politicians, volunteers and NGO’S doing? We should take responsibility for whatever has happened.
